A pipeline passes input through defined steps to an output. You will read a tiny catalogue, apply explicit rules, and separate ready records from records needing human review. CSV means comma-separated values: a text table, not an Excel workbook. XLSX is a different workbook format; changing its extension to .csv does not convert it.
Know A01 files, A02 rules, A03 terminal and A06 recovery. Practical route: personal computer, text editor and Python 3.14 reference environment. Only Python's built-in library is used; no paid service, Excel, pandas, AI account or API key. Python installation needs device permission and disk space. The no-install route classifies the same records on paper and traces the code; it does not produce a running pipeline.
Try the first decision: if two different items share ID 003, which one should remain automatically? A02's rule sends both for review because we lack evidence to choose. The full lesson implements that choice, not a universal rule for every business.
